Fuvahmulah’s unique location make it one of the Maldives’ top destinations for those who are feeling a little adventurous. Since the construction of the harbor in 2004, fishermen have been discarding fish waste in the surrounding waters. This has given rise to a healthy population of curious tiger sharks that come up to feed. At peak time there are up to 5 to 10 individual sharks. The atoll’s famous tiger sharks can be seen every day, but it is also home to hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, silvertip sharks, big schools of barracudas, yellowfin tuna, bonitos and more!
All the divers will have a detailed safety briefing by KANDU divemasters regarding shark behaviour, group conduct and emergency procedures prior to the dive.

Day 1: Arrival to Maldives and local flight to Fuvahmulah

You will be greeted at the airport by our team!

We will all then head off to the local airport terminal.

Arrival in Fuvahmulah Island.

We will enjoy a meal together by the beautiful beach.

Head to the dive school for BCD sizing and prepare the equipment for the next days.

Return to the hotel after sunset for dinner and an early night.
Day 2: Fuvahmulah – 3 Dives

Breakfast will be prepared and had after the first dive.

3 dives:
-
1st: Deep dive – 3 thresher sharks & hammerheads + unexpected encounters.

2nd: Tiger Shark Point – Multitude of tiger sharks.

3rd: Reef dive – turtles, reef, moray eels, reef sharks + clean up.

Return to the hotel in the late evening.

Day 3: Fuvahmulah – 3 Dives

Breakfast will be prepared and had after the first dive.

3 dives:

Day 4: Departure to Maafushi

Breakfast will be prepared before we leave for the airport.

Arrival to Male and speedboat to Maafushi Island.

Option to relax, get a massage, jet ski, kayaks etc.

Day 5: Maafushi – 2 Dives

Breakfast will be prepared and had after the first dive.

2 dives:

1st: Grey reef, white tip and black tip sharks, eagle rays + unexpected encounters.

2nd: Turtles, variety of sharks + unexpected encounters and mantas (if we are lucky)

Sunset and dinner with live music!

Day 6: Nurse Sharks & farewell in Maafushi
